This white oak sill is custom made to measure for a bathroom renovation in a 1930s home. The front edge is quartersawn, so the most visible face shows the ray fleck white oak is known for.
I finished it in a natural oil and wax to keep the oak light and matte, in keeping with the calm, natural palette of the bathroom.
